Internet *******

******* at its best, I paid full price then they had a internet outage which I have nothing to do with that, 2 full days then they have the audacity to tell me to pay as my WiFi is left with 1 day. I spoke to Phumeza P after waiting for soooooooooooooo long on the chats and she told me of their policy only refunds 7 days and more. This is crazy to anyone reading this if you use Vuma just know if they have an internet outage for 6 days they will not refund you and this is appalling behaviour from WebAfrica

 Hello  Simon.

We completely understand your frustration, especially having paid for a service that was unavailable due to a widespread outage. Being left without internet for two full days is understandably inconvenient, and we appreciate how disruptive this can be. We want to clarify that, as an Internet Service Provider, we cannot issue refunds for downtime caused by large-scale network outages outside of our control. Widespread outages affect multiple hourselholds no matter who the ISP is, simultaneously, and the costs and logistics involved in compensating for every affected session are not something we're able to do. This is why our policy only allows refunds for outages exceeding seven days, as confirmed during your chat with Phumeza P. That said, we do aim to restore service as quickly as possible and continually improve network reliability to minimise such disruptions. Your experience is important, and we will continue to monitor these events closely to prevent extended interruptions in the future.    If you’re having connection issues, it’s a good idea to first check if there’s a known outage in your area. The Webafrica app makes this quick and easy. Link: https://knowledge.webafrica.co.za/index.php/knowledge-base/how-to-check-for-network-outages-in-the-webafrica-mobile-app/
