Incorrect and ******** billing

Good day

I am trying to reach as many people as I possibly can with mail, to make sure that this extremely untasteful situation comes to an end!

The background: My ex-husband took out a second contract with Webafrica for me and our girls to use at our residence a few years ago. We were very happy with the service. But then, we relocated in December 2021 and I contacted Webafrica on all platforms to let them know that we will not be making use of their service anymore. I specifically send a whatsapp on the extremely user-unfriendly app. (Screenshot included)

From then, we have received billing continuously every month, We are at our wits end with Webafrica! We have exchanged numerous emails with various people in the legal department. My ex-husband has also had numerous whatsapp conversations with various people at Webafrica to sort out this mess - but, to no avail. (Screenshots attached) My ex-husband has also reversed the debit order numerous times as we do not make use of Webafrica anymore and we gave a month's notice in advance. But debit orders still keep coming every month, even after we tried to stop it. The amount that Webafrica says we owe them, just keeps growing and growing....

Yet, yesterday, another debit order went through my ex-husband's account, resulting in other debit orders that could not go through. This situation has now been going on for 7 months, and that is why I have now taken this matter to other platforms as well in the little hope that Webafrica will stop taking money from my ex-husband's account for a service that we do not use.

Anru also asked Webafrica yesterday to sent him a statement of the account which they did and it had a R0,00 balance. Yet, this morning an amount of R4244,00 was debited from his bank account

I really hope that this email will help us get to a point where we can put this extremely unpleasant experience behind us and not get any further future unwelcome debit orders.

You are welcome to contact my ex-husband as the payments are taken from his bank account. Anru Nel (JP) *** ID: *** 084
