I would like to commend Charl for the exceptional way he handled my query. What really stood out to me was not only his empathy and professionalism, but the fact that he went above and beyond to assist me. After understanding my circumstances, Charl escalated the matter to his manager without me even asking him to, in an effort to make things easier for me. He then came back to me with an exception that had been approved, allowing my cancellation to take effect on 1 September 2026. In a time when I’m already dealing with a difficult employment situation, his kindness, understanding and willingness to advocate for me genuinely meant a lot. He could have simply explained the cancellation policy and left it at that, but instead, he took the initiative to look for a solution. Thank you, Charl, for treating me with compassion and for going the extra mile. This is what exceptional customer service looks like.
