I app**** and paid R439 for a Fibre package with webafrica. They came 2 days later and did an assessment, but then disappeared for 3 weeks until I contacted them via WhatsApp chat, only to be told they had canceled and I was to get a refund. The person on the chat told me the infrastructure on my street had been destroyed so they couldn't install Fibre. I understand that but they just moved on and left me in the dark until I ran after them to get information and the refund. That was very poor customer service.

04 Jun 2026, 09:31Hi Elvis,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it must have been to go through the sign‑up process, make payment, and then be left without clear communication for such an extended period. Not being kept informed, especially when the installation could not proceed, can feel very disappointing and inconvenient.
This experience has clearly fallen short and is not the level of service we aim to provide, particularly for what should have been a smooth and transparent onboarding journey. Even in cases where service cannot be provided due to infrastructure limitations, you should have been kept fully updated throughout the process.
Your feedback will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement, as clear communication and proactive updates are essential to the experience we aim to deliver.
If there’s anything further you’d like us to assist with, you’re welcome to send us a direct message on Hello Peter and our team will gladly help.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
