06 Sept 2025, 17:10I've been a client of Webafrica for +/- 2 years. In June/July this year we requested a new service at a different address and to downgrade our old package. I had to pay order processin fee for both addresses. A technician came out to install the new service at the new address but discovered there was no coverage. I called in to report this. At the same time the agent I spoke to terminated our existin service, I discovered this a day or so later. Between then and now, I got a new service installed, however Webafrica is claiming I owe them +/- R1998 as I did not return the old router. I received an email stating I should return the router or provide an address for pick-up of the equipment, which i did. I called in several times and even emailed the CEO Sean Nourse, to have this matter resolved but to no avail. On 1 September 2025, Webafrica debited my account for service rendered. This morning at about 3am the internet shut off. When I leased with Webafrica via whatsapp I was informed my service has been suspended due to overdue payment, this being for the router which Webafrica still did not come collect. So it seems I've been talking to robots and clearly they don't have a clue what they doing. My last conversation was with Gugu M. Via whatsapp who informed me that I should wait for 48 business working hours as finance has to approve the clawback credits. Well I've been up and down with this since beginning July whats another 48 hours, right??? I am now without internet, my son studies online through UNISA and has an assignment to submit by tomorrow evening, but I guess its not Webafrica's problem right?? Webafrica your service is putrid to say the least, clearly all the agents I spoke to are clueless as not one of them could resolve this issue for the past 2 months. I am truly considering changing service providers - Webafrica is a big NO NO!!!!
