HORRIBLE / SHOCKING / TELKOM'S EVIL STEP-SISTER

If i could give a MINUS 5 starts I would.

I joined up with Web Africa a couple months ago , all seemed great and so fast and they were on the ball with everything . Signed up and all went well , got my router and plugged in and all hell broke loose ( I had the LTE package 100GB Package )

1st the signal was never stable , ping for online gaming was ********** , speeds were never stable , watching videos on my phone was a nightmare !

logged a support ticket , then it got worse , there support is THE WORST , i would rather deal with Telkom than these guys !!

They did something to my line and all seemed fine again for a while , I then wanted to downgrade the package as i wasn’t using the whole 100GB ( also when I signed up I was told i can upgrade / downgrade at any time ) - Low and behold i was told oh no you can’t downgrade only upgrade - If i wanted to downgrade i should just cancel the service - This is what i was told by the agent.

Which i did , cancellation was submitted and processed - I now get an invoice for R2000.00 for a "router Clawback" - I email them about it , no response - I called them and after 39 Minutes & 23 Seconds the call gets answered - Fast forward another 14 Minutes , 12 Seconds to get to right department.

I am now told that " oh you didn’t return the router to us so now we will bill you " !!

I was NEVER , Emailed , SMS'D , Called to let me know about this just an invoice sent out and almost an hour of being put on hold and ME making arrangements to get the router back to them i was told i will probably still be billed for the router ?!?!?!

But don’t stress i can log a call and they will refund me - Which by what i went through should be back to me in about a years’ time !!

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS - Take my word for it !!

Rather go to RAIN LTE or even Telkom , you will have better luck !! They are useless , tech support is **** , there "WhatsApp" support is **** , signal is **** , you hold forever for billing issue's but boy oh boy when they want you to sign up they are on you like a bad rash !!

Fair warning to all this is Telkom's evil step-sister !!
