Horrible Service Provider, They will ***** from you if they see the opportunity.

I work abroad and wanted to cancel my service with them within the year, they explained to me that I would have to pay for the installation fees as a result. This I understood and decided to keep my service active since it would cost less and I would not have problems to activate it again when I returned home.

As it happens, WebAfrica realized that there is no traffic on my network and at the end of December 2022 they decided to cancel my line with the line provider, Octotel. But they kept their service active. In other words, they deducted the full amount from my account from the month of January 2023 all the way through to May 2023 when I returned home. But they no longer had the expense of having to rent my line from Octotel and pocketing the extra money.

When I returned and found the internet was not working, they gave me the old story of saying that Octotel has an outage in my area. I contacted Octotel to find out when they would be able to fix it and was told that there has not been any outages in my area.

WebAfrica fed me lies left and right about the line only being rented initially for a year and that they have to manually request it to be activated again. To be clear, it has not been a year since I had it activated. In fact it was just over 6 months before they cancelled the line and pocketed the extra money.

I received the proof from Octotel showing that a request was sent to Octotel to cancel my line on the 20th of December 2022 from WebAfrica email - ***. The line cancellation was active from the 1st of January 2023.

Their Customer service is absolutely horrible because it only goes through whatsapp. They take forever to connect you to someone, then it takes forever to explain the situation, after this you are transferred 6 times to different people and each time you have to explain the situation even though they have access to the entire chat and can read what has been explained previously.
