Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. Being without WiFi for nine days, especially while working from home and having to spend additional money on mobile data, is understandably exhausting and stressful. We recognise the real impact this has had on your work and finances, and this is not the experience we want for our clients.
We’ve reviewed the account and can confirm that a fault was logged with Vumatel this morning due to the PON light flashing, which indicates a line issue that requires intervention from the network provider. Our Faults Monitoring Team is actively following up and engaging with Vumatel to ensure the necessary corrections are made and that connectivity is restored as soon as possible. You’ll receive SMS updates as the fault progresses and as soon as further feedback becomes available.
Your experience, including the difficulty reaching support and the prolonged downtime, will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement, as timely communication and resolution are critical in situations like this.
If you require any additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to us via a private message on Hello Peter, and we’ll continue to support you.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
