First time using WebAfrica (second month only) - I’m already regretting this

I am leaving this review here because it seems like no one at WebAfrica can actually sort this issue out!

I signed up with in February on a promotion for R399 for the first 2 months. The normal monthly fee is R649. And I had to pay the processing fee of R245. The consultant said I can pay when I am ready as my line will only be released at the 31st of March from my previous service provider. Instead they decided to bill my account in February. I didn’t have the funds available, to which they added a R50 fee to the processing fee. I explained that I didn’t authorise them to deduct these funds. So they credited the R50. At the end of March I paid the processing fee.

My line was activated at the end of March. I couldn’t settle April’s bill and made an arrangement for it to be paid on the 26th of April. They added the R50 fee for unsuccessful collection, which I understand and all good

Come the 25th of April, I want to pay the arrears and see that the amount I need to pay is now R1060. I queried this immediately.

On Friday the 25th of April I was told that they didn’t add the promotion for May and that the consultant will add a credit note to the account. This will take 24 - 48 hours.

On Monday the 28th of April, I followed up on this again, another consultant told me the same thing and they would add the credit note and it takes 24 - 48hrs.

Today, the 29th of April I get an sms and email that my services will be suspended due to non payment. I contacted them again, this time the consultant tells me that the credit note had been declined as this month is my 3rd month using their services. I rectified her by telling her that my services only started on the 31st of March and that the R245 paid in February was the processing fee for the router. She then tells me she will transfer our chat to their Premier service

I had to explain the same situation the 4th consultant. I was then told again that they’ve added a credit note and that he will add a note for the accounts department not to suspend my account. Only for me to come home tonight to find that my service had been suspended!

Can someone who knows what’s going on there actually sort this out or will this be a monthly issue?

I don’t mind paying the full monthly fee but it’s the principal that counts - don’t advertise promotions on your website when it’s not billed correctly! I’m at my wits end that it takes me to come here to complain about something that could’ve been sorted out with the 4 consultants I had to go through!
