FALSE ADVERTISING, BEWARE

FALSE ADVERTISING

They offer "free routers" with Fibre packages.

After a year and a half of service, I had to cancel due to moving. Webafrica then send me a "claw back fee" for the router without asking. Only after I challenge them on the theft, they suddenly bring up all sorts of deep policies that justify it.

I now have to post them their router back at my own cost and then only will they refund the money they already took.

BEWARE when taking out any package that involves devices, demand all policies and fine pri t around a package before ordering to avoid surprises when you cancel.

See article below that backs up my claim: https://www.google.co.za/amp/s/mybroadband.co.za/news/broadband/249759-webafricas-free-router-advertising-is-misleading-asa.html/amp

No thank you. An automated response is not good enough your staff has already spoken to me three times, they are unphased. Webafrica is just another South African ISP who milks consumers dry.
