Endless lies and empty promises by Webafrica
After having Webafrica as my "service" (MOST PATHETIC SERVICE EVER) provider for over 10 months now, I have come to the conclusion that Webafrica is not interested in providing paying customers with a service they signed up for, but rather they only seem interested in taking their clients' money AND NOT provide the service paid for in return.
I have been paying for a 100 mb/s fibre line, and instead I frequently (More often than not) end up with speeds well below 30, 20, 10, or even Webafrica's best, 0,85 mb/s.
I constantly have to spend endless amounts of money phoning their offices, in which case you are helped after being on the phone well over 45 minutes at a time, and only an hour later you sit with the same problem again.
I have been in contact with their tech-support manager Rushdien Majiet for well over 2 months now, trying to resolve a 10 month old problem with no progress what so ever.
I have also supposedly been in contact with top management (Mariska), and yet again no help what so ever.
Neither Webafrica's management, nor technicians are able to resolve any issues, nor do they seem interested in doing so, as they make constant empty promises and don't deliver.
I've decided and informed Webafrica's management that I will not pay the full amount of R1025,00 for a pathetically poor service last month, but instead that I am willing to pay a fair amount of R600,00 in relationship to the service provided out of principle, in which case Webafrica simply ignored me.
Afterwards my account was simply suspended which forced me once again to phone Webafrica. I was in contact with Mariska (supposedly their top management), which unsuspended my account and accepted my payment of R600,00 and promised the issue will be resolved and that she will provide me with a formal e-mail which will state that they accept my payment of R600,00.
It's been days later, and no e-mail.
Webafrica has simply added an amount of R295,00 for next months bill, forcing me as a client to pay up, but they don't provide the proper service.
I have since been in contact with Rushdien Majiet (tech-support manager) once again, requesting the telephonic recording with Mariska (top management) as proof of whats been going on, in which I have still not been provided with anything.
Finally, after months of frustration, I have decided to look for another service provider (anyone capable of providing a service paid for), and surprisingly as a client of Webafrica, I will not be able to get another service provider as Webafrica has to release my line first, which forces me to stay with them.
(My neighbour had exactly the same package from Webafrica with exactly the same problem. only after they left Webafrica, have they been happy with the service provided by other companies)
