Eighteen Days and still no ADSL Service

I contacted Webafrica on Friday 30 Jan as my ADSL line was crackling and my internet connection was off. The consultant asked me to reboot my modem and he went onto the system and said there was nothing wrong with the connection and it was working normally and that the problem was on my side. I had no service over the weekend and my son in law called Webafrica on Monday 3 February and they opened a ticket as they found the line was faulty and the consultant I had spoken to had logged in to my business line which is a completely different account number which was the start of my nightmare. I was getting a very slow service .09 Mbps due to the noise on the line and high latency. I was sending constant emails and got constant apologies but no action. Finally after phoning and jumping up and down a Telkom technician arrive at my house on Wednesday 11 February. He disconnected the line and modem, exposed the wiring and left to find the fault at the termination point after admitting that he was not fami**** with the area. So we now had no connection or service at all and we have not seen the technician since and we are back on the apology and blame game despite my constant follow up.
