Effing pathetic ISP
We got our LTE package from Webafrica. We run an online business and it is crucial for us to have a good internet connection. For the first month our internet was working fine, but then speeds just went down and down. I have already called and called and called over and over again to get this resolved. Every time I get told that there is nothing they can do it has been escalated to Cell C who is the provider. In the meanwhile we are paying for a service that we are not receiving. The ads I see of "effing fast" is effing ****ing me off more and more. We are supposed to get up to 50Mbps but constant speed tests never puts us over 2Mbps. Also our downloads fail and pages sometimes do not load. If I had a client that told me that their internet is crucial to the running of their business and called me day in and day out, I think I would give them updates as to what is happening and I would get on the phone and call Cell C day in and day out and demand that they sort out the issue. Since Webafrica is not resolving this issue, I will now go myself and contact Cell C to get this handled.
I have now been contacted by Webafrica and they asked us to send them speed test data etc. We have done that over a week ago and we have not heard anything back from them. Effing pathetic company! They are very happy to take our money but for the last two months we are not getting the LTE service we are paying for. In addition, we literally lost a big sale to a client in the USA last week because we could not do a Skype call due to internet connetion being so slow that we could not do the call. If you are reading this and you are looking for an ISP, I would urge you to stay away.
