Do think twice before using this company as your ISP - you may be in for a surprise...
Absolutely horrifying customer service.
Any potential customer should be aware that WebAfrica together with Vumatel WILL charge you installation for the fibre setup - even though it was already installed!! Absolutely **********.
It all started with me moving into a complex (as a tenant) that has fibre (vumatel) already installed TO THE UNIT (the white box and everything was already installed before we even moved in).
I searched through the different service providers and considered WebAfrica as they offered a reasonable monthly subscription fee with no upfront costs -IF YOU ALREADY HAVE FIBER INSTALLED. Knowing that my installation was already done I proceeded to enter into agreement with WebAfrica.
To my shock they now deny everything and keep on debiting me for the installation - that was done when they built the complex - months before I even thought of moving here.
The staff at their after hour call center are so rude and sarcastic - it is sickening in today's competitive environment.
They even go so far as to make claims that the technicians was in my unit on the 3rd of December 2018 - but they can't provide me with any proof.
I am still waiting for proof that the installation was done on the 3rd December - luckily I took pictures when we came to view the unit where the hardware was already installed.
Do think twice before using this company as your ISP - you may be in for a surprise...
