I initially app**** to Octotel for a fibre line, which at the time was at R399.00 for a 10mbps. I was then told Octotel, who installed fibre in my aread, is not doing my area but mweb can give me the same deal but for R100 more, which I initially was not happy about. How infuriating is it when I have now wanted to upgrade only for my statement to reflect that I am paying R499 pm but for a 4mbps line. This kind of conning of customers ****es me off. Why is it so common that we get ripped of in this country. I will probably now receive a call from a clueless agent apologising and not fixing my problem. Besides the ugly PVC piping you use along my house now you've given me what I thought was my initial order but I was not informed.

My query still has not been resolved. I want my 10Mbps or I will go to another service provider. I initially app**** for a special of R399 but was told a bull**** story of how Octotel is not in the area and I will get the same deal but R100 more. I don't have the same deal for R100. I will take this to the consumer protection. I have sent numerous e-mails and have had no response.
