DO NOT USE WEBAFRICA
I signed up almost 3 months ago, countless technicians have come from vumatel, I have been on WhatsApp almost everyday. I still don’t have internet. This company is useless, absolutely pathetic and the fact that they are still open is shocking. I hope anyone thinking about signing comes here first to avoid the ****show that is being run at Webafrica

19 May 2026, 09:27Hi Louis, we hear how frustrated you are, and it’s completely understandable given the ongoing delays and the amount of time you’ve already spent trying to get this resolved. Being without a stable connection for this long, despite multiple technician visits and daily follow-ups, is not the experience you should be having, and we understand why you feel so let down.
We want to properly take ownership of your case and get this looked into in detail rather than continuing the back-and-forth on open chat threads. Please send us a direct message with your account details so we can pull up your full history, review what’s happened across the technician visits, and escalate this with the right priority team.
We’ll make sure your case is reviewed properly and not treated as another general query, so we can focus on getting you a clear and actionable resolution path.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

We hear your frustration, and it’s completely understandable given the ongoing delays and the time you’ve already spent trying to get this resolved. When service issues stretch over a period like this without clear resolution, it naturally becomes exhausting and frustrating.
Please rest assured that our team is actively working on a resolution for your case, and it has been escalated to the relevant technical team for urgent attention. The matter is currently being handled to ensure it receives the necessary focus and follow-through.
We understand your concern based on previous experiences, but your case remains active and is being worked on with priority to reach a proper resolution.

19 May 2026, 11:01Hi Louis,
We hear your frustration, and we understand why it feels that way after such a long period without a stable connection. When progress isn’t visible from your side, even ongoing work can understandably feel like nothing is happening.
At this stage, your case is actively with our activations team, and we are awaiting their feedback on the next steps required to resolve the issue. We will provide feedback as soon as we receive an update from them, so you’re not left in the dark or having to repeatedly follow up for the same information.
We do acknowledge your experience so far, and the focus now is on getting a clear resolution in place rather than repeating what has already been done. We’ll stay on this and update you as soon as there is movement.
Warm regards,

02 Jun 2026, 14:10And we are back, that didn't take long. You have now billed me for days that your service was not active and that was due to your service errors. Now you expect me to pay the extra amount to have my connection I am absolutely furious. Webafrica made a billing error on MY account - they started billing me from the 9th when my service was only active from the afternoon of the 19th May. That is 10 days of charges I should NOT be paying.
When I contacted support to have this corrected, I was told a credit would be app**** but would take 24-48 WORKING HOURS. Fine. But here is the kicker - you suspended my internet in the meantime, meaning I am now being charged for days I have NO CONNECTION. An error YOU made is costing me service days I am paying for.
Your agent then had the audacity to suggest I overpay the incorrect amount to activate my connection and "wait for a credit." I am not going to pay more than I owe because your billing department made a mistake. Why should I hand over extra money and wait for Webafrica to hold it while I sit without internet?
Why am I being punished for YOUR mistake. No internet today, tomorrow, and Thursday - all because YOU refuse to simply correct the bill, let me pay the right amount, and restore my service immediately.
This is completely unacceptable. Fix your systems, fix your billing, and stop making customers suffer for your own incompetence.

02 Jun 2026, 15:12Hi Louis,
We understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially when you’ve already been billed for days where the service was not active due to an error on our side, and then experienced a suspension while waiting for it to be corrected. Being left without connectivity while this is unresolved is not the experience we want for you.
A request has been sent to the Finance Team to urgently review your account. They have also been asked to address the service suspension and reconnection in line with the corrected balance so that you are not required to pay for incorrect charges.
We remain focused on ensuring your account is aligned correctly and that your service is restored without further inconvenience once this has been resolved.
Kind regards,
Webafrica Crew

02 Jun 2026, 15:22I appreciate your response here. This whole experience has been one for the books and I appreciate the individuals behind the screens dealing my attitude but honestly Webafrica has a bad reputation for a reason and now I understand why. I wish I could honestly speak well of this business but you have done nothing extra except fix or repair your own mistakes while I persistently am inconvenienced. I will come back in due time to report on any updates which I am sure the processes and procedures will take their own time to do. Have a great day pen pal. I'm sure it won't be long until we will speak again.

We hear the frustration in your message, and we understand that this experience has left you feeling disappointed and inconvenienced.
What you’ve described is not the standard we aim to deliver. Even when issues are eventually resolved, the journey getting there should feel clear, supported, and respectful of your time throughout.
We appreciate you acknowledging the individuals who assisted you along the way, and we also take your broader feedback seriously. It’s important for us to reflect on where the experience did not meet expectations and to improve from it.
We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your honest experience with us.

We completely understand why you're frustrated. After believing the matter had been resolved, finding yourself in the same situation again with the credit note seemingly not being app**** and your service at risk of being suspended is understandably upsetting.
We've requested our team to look into this as a priority to verify the status of the credit note and why your account is still reflecting an outstanding balance. They'll review the account and work towards resolving the discrepancy as quickly as possible.
We'll ensure this is followed up and that you receive feedback once the review has been completed.
