Do not bother with the 100mbps speed from Webafrica

My fibre was installed on 29 Sep 2017 and the contract was for 100mbps Download/Upload speed. Till date I haven't received the said speed - in fact on some days it is as bad a 2 or 3 mbps. I have been writing to them since the first week of October 2017 - the tardy responses come after 3-4 days (with an assurance that this is not the normal way they respond and we will see an improvement in response time) and all they can tell me is to change channels on my modem setting and check. I've done this multiple times, but is it going to help if the network cannot provide the said speed. I finally provided an ultimatum that a senior person contact me before 12h00 today (18th October), else I would need to resort to social platforms, but look at the slackness .... even that has not prompted a follow up call.

Leave alone the issue of speed - the Vumatel Aerial line has been down since 11h30 on 16th October and all users in the area have logged tickets - but everyone is just being passed between Webafrica and Vumatel like a ping pong ball and none of them want to resolve the issue. 2.5 weeks of Fibre and it is already down for 3 days!! Wonder why I even bothered getting the connection!

To top it all, a company that is selling technology of the future, doesn't have customer care available after 17h00. So you get home after work and want to stream a show on your TV and realise that the fibre isn't working, who you gonna call ..... Ghostbusters????!!!! cause webafrica is no where to be found!

Webafrica is cheating customers on its offer to provide a 100mbps Download/Upload speed. Please do not waste your money on this option with them - in fact there is such a careless attitude towards customers that you shouldn't bother with them.

Dear Rafeeqah, organising for me to get a call is all well and good. Nothing happening after receiving that call is an entirely different story. WEBAFRICA are corporate bullies and the worst service providers I have ever encountered. Please organise for your staff to come collect your ****py equipment from my premises and organise a full refund of the amounts billed to me to date. I'm disgusted!!!
