Disgusting service towards first time client
I was so excited to join webafrica that I cancelled my Rain account to join them. I received my router after the line was activated and was told that I need to be in contact with webafrica once I receive it to get a credit added for the days of no use, which I did and the credit was added, the agent called me and I specifically asked how much would be debited from my account and they agreed an amount that was just over R400. With times currently being so tough, I made sure that there was R500 in my account for the first debit. I even received an invoice the next day stating the amount just over R400.
Then on the 1st of September, the day of the debit I received another invoice with a different amount that was to be debited. The amount was over R1600. I couldn't understand why and contacted them to find out. I was told that it is for pro rata. I then asked the agent if I could please make an arrangement to pay double cause I did not budget for that amount. He told me that he could only place a promise to pay. And that if the line gets suspended I need to discuss with the collections department to get the line reconnected.
The debit obviously bounced and I was charged a penalty at the bank, so now I didn't have enough for either of the amounts. I contacted webafrica on their whatsapp line cause there is no number to call directly. And was now told that the line can only be reconnected if i make full payment.
This is absolutely rediculas and I am sick and tired. I have had nothing but problems from webafrica. I am now going to loose money cause I cannot work from home without the wifi being connected! Please help me
