Discussing customer service. Webafrica
I am appalled by your continued discussing service. In short Web Africa erroneously deducted my monthly payment from the wrong account. A completely different and un-associated client to myself. 1. I tried to bring this to your attention on numerous occasions, to which you ignored. 2. Only when you realised (customer obviously complained loud enough) did you inform me that my account was in arrears. 3. An agreement was concluded that I would “catch up” the arrears on my account by paying an additional R500.00 per month. 4. This agreement was to start on the 1st of June 2020 yet you deducted the additional amount along with my normal payment on the 1st of May 2020. (Complete disregard for the agreement!) 5. The R500.00 plus the monthly premiums have been deducted successfully from my ABSA account for May, June and July 2020. 6. Yesterday the 13th July 2020 you cut off my account! With no prior warning, no correspondence and complete disregard in investigating my account. 7. Having had a WhatsApp conversation with one of your agents Iman for over an hour last night I was informed:- a. My account is in arrears due to the fact you refunded me R5546.87. This is blatantly untrue! You may have refunded the client’s account you erroneously deducted. Regardless of the fact I use the internet for my lively hood and I have already lost over R8000 due to non-internet connection, they continue to ignore all correspondence. WhatsApp, email and telephonic. P.S. I fully understand the limitations created by the lockdown. However with modern day technology I find it unacceptable that it is imposable to talk to any human within the organisation and the only way to discuss a client’s issue is through WhatsApp. (Try calling your land line)
