Disappointed ex-customer.
About 12 months ago, we rented a place while building our new house. I ordered a fibre connection from Webafrica. They sent me a router, which I did not ask for. Webafrica then arranged a courier to collect the unopened router. When my lease contract at the property expired, I gave Webafrica notice that I am terminating my services with them. I then start getting messages that I have to return my router in order not to be billed for it. I contacted Webafrica via their Whatsapp number to explain that the router was returned shortly after it was delivered to me. I did this about 3 times to try and stop the SMS and email messages and was assured that the issue will be resolved. I even supp**** them with the waybill number, but still the messages kept coming. After the deadline for returning the router, I was billed and the amount of R999 was deducted from my account. I then again contacted them via Whatsapp, but the issue is still not resolved. It seems that the Whatsapp centre is not working, or the staff is not doing their job. I am very disappointed with the way this was handled by Webafrica. There is no telephone number that I could find to try and speak to somebody. By the way, I was a client of WebAfrica for about 10 years at my previous residence, but will never make use of their services again after this experience.
