******** debiting of account for "cancelled" services.

Ok unfortunately, Webafrica has complained about my use of profanaties...

Here's a very "sweet" version: I was ********ly and incorrectly debited R1000 for cancellation of services, while I am CURRENTLY still using their services. I requested a call back over a month ago, but the service reps that were assisting me were about as useful as a bag of snow in an ice storm.

They refused a refund for the debit order, even after actively confirming with me that I had nbot in fact, cancelled my services with them. Imagine that??? You cannot speak to any sort of supervisor or manager in the team. You cannot PHYSICALLY go to their offices because, well then people would have an avenue to approach them that they cannot stop.

Only AFTER posting all over social media did I get confirmatiuon that they will CREDIT the amount. Not refund it, no no no. Just credit it. With a basic apology that is so lacking on sincerity that it just sounds sarcastic,

Hi Gage,
We understand your concerns regarding the R1,000 cancellation fee and the frustration caused by the time taken to get clarity on the matter, particularly as you have confirmed that you are still using your Webafrica service.A credit for the R1,000 cancellation fee has been processed on your account, so the amount will be accounted for on the account accordingly. Unfortunately, we are unable to process this amount as a refund because the debit order was returned as unpaid. As a result, the amount could not be refunded through the original payment method. We acknowledge your concerns regarding the communication and the assistance you received while trying to have this resolved. We appreciate your patience while the account was reviewed and the credit was processed.Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Absolutely not good enough. You think that sorts out the emotional distress caused by ONLY your company over the last 30 DAYS? You think a pathetic escuse for an apology and a "credit" is sufficient? I have still not spoken to a single human being with ANY authority in your company. Not ONE. And here you come with THIS and expect me to just accept it quietly? Absolutely not.

Hi Gage,We understand that receiving a credit on the account does not, by itself, address the frustration you’ve experienced over the past 30 days or the concerns you’ve raised about the way the matter was handled. We also acknowledge your concern that you have not yet had the opportunity to speak directly with someone who can properly address your concerns. The R1,000 cancellation fee has been credited to your account, as previously advised. We have also noted your concerns regarding the communication, the assistance provided, and the overall handling of the matter. We appreciate that you expected more from us, particularly as you have been a long-standing Webafrica customer. Your concerns have been noted in full, and we understand that you are looking for a meaningful resolution rather than simply confirmation that a credit has been processed.Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

" Your concerns have been noted in full, and we understand that you are looking for a meaningful resolution rather than simply confirmation that a credit has been processed." Rough translation: "nothing further will be done with regards to this matter, and you just have to suck it up and deal with it."

Yup, pretty much what I expected. So essentially, thank you for nothing. I will CONSISTENTLY ensure that I do not recommend your company... I will keep creating new social media accounts and commenting on them so that you guys get ZERO traction. This matter was not resolved. Its STILL ongoing. So enjoy the consequences of your actions.
