********** customer service.

Absolutely ********** customer service from webafrica I ordered a new fibre line from webafrica yesterday and it has been problems from the word go. First of all, the person i spoke to told me the installation was gping to be done at 9 am in the morning. And when called, you wait hours online to get no answer. Only for the technicians to picltch at 13h30 saying that was the schedule of the installation.

Fine. Installation done and dusted. The webafrica router aslo arrived the time the installation was carried out. When the technicians left, i got a msg from Evotel that the line is active. Sweet. For some reason i already had a connection. 4 hours away. The connection dies.

The following day. Which is today i have been basically on hold being pushed one person to another person not on this stupid live chat not sorting out anything..

They never answer their calls, they dont return any msgs on their whatsapp line that I have been on hold from 7 am this morning.

And then the people that are supposed to help you on the live chat on their app takes ages to respond, thats if they do.

Im not saying dont go for webafrica. Im just saying rahter pay a little bit more to find any one else.

These people dont care about the customers.

Hello  Dewald. Reading through your experience, it’s clear that this has been extremely frustrating and stressful. From conflicting installation times to the connection dying shortly after going live, and then being left waiting for support across multiple channels, it’s understandable why you feel let down. That’s not the smooth start we want for any new fibre customer. We’ve already arranged for an onboarding support call back for your profile. During this call, our team will review your connection, check the stability of your line, and ensure everything is configured correctly so you can get reliable service without further interruptions. This way, you won’t have to chase different people or wait endlessly on live chat — we’ll take ownership and guide you through the resolution from start to finish. A few tips to make the most of this support call:
  •  Have your account details ready, along with the timing of the issues you’ve experienced. This helps the agent pinpoint the problem quickly.
  •  Note any devices or activities that may be affected by connection drops; this helps confirm if it’s line-related or device-related.
We want to make sure your connection is stable and reliable, and that your onboarding experience reflects the quality and convenience we strive for. Your time and patience are valued, and we’ll be proactive in getting this fully resolved.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
