Complaint & Review for Webafrica and Vumatel

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Webafrica and their fibre infrastructure provider Vumatel. Since signing up, I’ve had constant internet connection issues — it’s either very slow or completely down for hours at a time. This is completely unacceptable, especially because I work from home and rely on a stable internet connection to do my job.

I’ve reached out multiple times via WhatsApp support and have received no real assistance. The agents are either unresponsive or offer generic, unhelpful replies. It feels like I’m talking to bots, not actual customer service.

Now that I want to cancel and move to a more reliable provider, Webafrica refuses to let me cancel easily. Why should I be locked into a service that doesn’t work?

I strongly advise others to stay away from Webafrica if you need consistent, reliable internet — especially if you work remotely. Poor service, poor support, and no accountability.
