BURNT by WebAfrica

Am utterly horrified and left red faced, having app**** for a R2000 pm link on behalf of a client,

...and after calling to specify that it's a new link, and that a router is required (several times)...

- now on (working) day 7 [SEVEN] after install has taken place, to be told that no router has been dispatched because this is mos a line move, not a new install. This is how it was noted on the system.

And to top it all off, we have been invoiced for this link on the 2nd of July?

So 1. invoice me prematurely. 2. get the order wrong after EVEN OPENSERVE TOLD YOU THAT IT IS A NEW INSTALL - THEY HAD TO GO BACK TWICE. 3. Have me have to call you 7 or 8 times to explain THE SAME THING AGAIN AND AGAIN. 4. now client STILL has to wait ANOTHER 2 to 3 days from Monday to get connected.

Mistakes happen, that's fine, understandable and forgivable.

BUT now what now WHEN I HAVE REPEATEDLY INFORMED WEBAFRICA THAT THIS IS A NEW [NEW] NEW INSTALLATION!!! Not once or twice, but numerous times. I will pull the call recordings from my system for your reference if you're still in doubt.

I am left in tears with my head hung in shame, really wanted to have this client live in the first week of this month. We were even bragging with how seamless you guys operate. WONT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN.

4 days later and still no router. No Credit Note, and No Internet yet either.

When i called up today to follow up on the router that WEBAFRICA promised me on FRIDAY would be delivered yesterday / today - i was told "no, this is a line move to a new premises, no router required. Dispatch rejected the request for a router to be sent Friday on this basis".

And to top this all off, they are not even willing to escalate this issue.

Words cannot express the horror and frustration.

Guess what at last, on the 14th, the router arrived and it was the wrong device - it cannot handle the link. Been trying since the 16th, when we finally figured out why the link won't stabilize, to get a replacement router shipped.

Called WebAfrica now and after waiting for over an hour, spoke to someone who couldnt help me, but transferred me to "the right department" - WHERE I PROMPTLY GOT CUT OFF.

Tried the "super fast" whatsapp chat, only to receive THIS message 10 times: I'm sorry its taking longer than usual to connect you to an agent. I'll keep trying...

And surprise surprise, next message was an "oh dear, we will call you back".

This is a joke. Not funny in the least however.
