Billed a full month for two days usage

I am disappointed that I have been tryiing to get answers for two weeks and have had no reply to my emails or a call as promised yesterday. I also spoke to someone on your online chat portal and was told that I would get a call by 4:30 this afternoon. No word yet.

I was told that a 'free month' is classified as the two active days that I had in February. I am really not happy about this. I spoke to someone on or around 16 or 17 March to point out my concern and I was told that my billing would be adjusted accordingly. Yet today I have received a different story.

I use other service providers and I get charged pro rata for a new month or I get billed monthly from the inception date even if it is in the middle of the month.

Your adverts clearly state that you get two months free (Not calendar months). It does however differentiate this with your cancellation policy which does state a 'calendar month'. Therefore legally speaking a 'month' constitutes from the date of inception to the same day the next month and means that I should be billed as follows:

27 February - 26 March
27 March - 26 April

I do not feel that the billing has been fair. If I had signed up when there was no special then would I have been charged R799 for two days of usage on a 20mps line?

I am happy to pay the full monthly rental price from 27 April once my two month free period is up. I was a loyal customer of my previous internet service providers both here in South Africa and abroad for 4 and 10 years respectively. Yet Webafrica seems determined to throw away a potential long term customer who also has a holiday home that I would be looking at also connecting through your company and various hosting services on websites that I own.

Please contact me as soon as possible or escalate to someone with authority. I have been very impressed with the service from your company thus far but I have been left with a negative view after today.

Thank you. I did get a response and no money was debited from my account.

I am still concerned that an amount of R799 is showing as unpaid on my online portal. I was told that the invoice would be reversed. Please look into this for me as I do not want to suddenly have my line disconnected due to non payment when it was agreed that I would get March and April free.

My service went live on 28 February and I was only able to connect at around 5pm on the day as I work full time. So in actual fact I was only live for around 7 hours before 1 March.
