Bad service, zero customer care . They only consume the money only

My old Webafrica account was terminated and I was forced onto a new Vuma Reach account. The Vuma fibre installation is 100% complete. ONT is installed, PON light is solid green — the line is live. But there’s still NO internet. Wi-Fi connects but says “No Internet Connection”.

The only thing stopping service is Webafrica not provisioning the account on their system. I’ve paid, I’ve followed all steps, and I’m still offline for days. I rely on internet for work and daily life.

To make it worse, Vuma technicians were parked opposite my house. I approached them for help. They refused to listen, asked zero questions, offered zero assistance, and showed zero care while sitting right outside a house with their infrastructure.

So Vuma says “not our problem” and Webafrica won’t activate. The customer is stuck in the middle. This is unacceptable service from both companies.

Webafrica needs to activate accounts immediately once Vuma’s line is live. Vuma needs to train contractors not to dismiss customers on-site. Paying for fibre shouldn’t mean days of no service and being ignored by everyone.

Hi Promise, this sounds like an incredibly frustrating position to be in, especially with the installation fully complete, the ONT showing a solid green PON light, and still having no internet while relying on it for work and daily use. Being stuck between activation and installation like this is not the experience we want for you.
Based on what you’ve described, it does point toward a provisioning step that hasn’t been completed on the account side. That would explain why the line is live, but no active internet session is coming through yet.
At the moment, we’re unable to locate your account from this review, which means we can’t directly check or action the activation just yet. We do want to get this resolved as quickly as possible for you.
Please send us a private message with your account details (ID number, contact number, or the email address linked to your account), and we’ll take it from there. Once we have your details, we’ll:
  •  Verify the current provisioning status
  •  Identify exactly where the delay is happening
  •  Push the activation through with the relevant teams as a priority
We’ll stay on this with you and make sure this gets properly resolved, you shouldn’t be left without service after everything has already been installed and paid for.
Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Promise, thanks for sharing the details. We’ve now been able to successfully locate the account.

We can confirm that the service has already been escalated to Vuma Reach for activation, and we are currently awaiting their feedback and completion of the activation process. Once they confirm that the line has been activated, we will be able to proceed with the next steps and keep you updated accordingly.

We appreciate your patience while this is being finalised, and we’ll continue following up on your behalf until there is confirmed progress.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
