Bad Service, Very Poor.
On the 1st of October 2023, I noticed that my I had my Bank Account debited twice for Fibre. The first Debit Order was correct as it reflected R399 which is for a package that I am using. Then, there was a different amount that was debited after few hours for R275.47. I went to my Bank to reverse it as I did not know what was a debit for. My bank suggested that I needed to call my Service Provider because there was no Debit Order for that transaction under my Account. Here are these transactions that were debited on the same day: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Capitec: Purchase -R399.00 from SAVINGS ACCOUNT; Ref PF VUMA* Web Africa a nesburg ZA; Avail ; 01-Oct. Guess what? I decided to chat on a Chat or WhatsApp with Webafrica Support. An agent by the name of Trevor M appeared to be clueless on how Fibre between Webafrica and Vuma works. I was asking him to log an SR or Service Request on his side so that Vuma Telecommunication can investigate that second transaction for R275.47. for me. He could not understand it because it was not reflected on his side. Of course it was not going to reflect on his side because it was not Webafrica that debited, instead it was Vuma Tel but my Fibre account is through Webafrica. I was hoping that he was going to log it for me so that I can either get feedback at a later stage from Webafrica or Vuma Tel. My observation was that Agents these days lack proper training to deal with us as subscribers. I rated him zero at the end of that chat because he was just clueless. Webafrica used to have good service and well trained staff. I was disappointed with that type of service as I still recommend them to my friends. My Client Code for them is DGC16.
