Bad Service Providers, No Accountability, No Connection for 4 weeeks straight
4 Weeks Paid, Still No Internet – Web Africa Is ****ming Customers with Zero Support
Worst company I’ve dealt with.
Paid Web Africa over 4 weeks ago and we still have NO internet. A tech finally showed up last Thursday, installed a new router and said “wait 24-48 hours”. It’s now Sunday night and nothing. Complete silence.
No connection, no updates, no one answering calls or messages. They take your money fast but disappear when it’s time to actually deliver.
If you need internet that works, avoid Web Africa. They’re wasting people’s time and money with zero accountability.

18 May 2026, 09:16Hi Promise.
We hear how frustrating this has been, especially after waiting this long and still not being connected. That’s not the experience we want for you, and we understand why you feel let down.
We’ve already escalated your case directly to the teams that handle Vuma Reach fibre activations. They are actively engaging with our Vumatel partners to fast-track your activation and get clarity on the delay.
You can expect an update via email as soon as there is confirmed feedback on your activation status. We are pushing this with urgency and staying close to it to ensure there’s real progress.
We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to turn this around for you. We’re committed to getting you connected as soon as possible.

18 May 2026, 13:57Hi Promise,
Being without internet for weeks, receiving mixed messages across channels, and having to chase updates understandably leaves you feeling let down, especially when you’ve already paid and are simply waiting for the service to work. This is not how we want our clients to feel, and it’s not the standard we aim to deliver. Please be assured that urgency has already been requested and the matter remains prioritised. The relevant teams are actively working on this, and we will continue pushing internally to ensure there is real progress, not just repeated explanations.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

19 May 2026, 08:44Hi Promise,
We hear the frustration in your message, and it’s completely valid. Going this long without a working connection, especially after multiple escalations over the past few weeks, is not the experience you should be having, and we understand why your confidence in the process is starting to feel shaken.
A follow-up has been sent through on your case and it has been flagged for urgent attention to ensure it is not sitting in a queue without action.
In terms of timing, we are pushing for resolution within the shortest possible turnaround, however we don’t want to mislead you with a fixed promise that may depend on the network side completing their checks. What we can commit to is that this has been prioritised again, and we will not leave it sitting without continuous follow-up until there is a confirmed outcome.
We understand that trust is built through action, not updates alone, and the repeated delays have not met that standard. We are actively staying on this until there is a clear resolution in place for you.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

19 May 2026, 12:42Hi Promise,
We hear your frustration, and we understand why it feels that way given how long this has already been ongoing. At this stage, the case is not about continuing to “look for a solution” in general terms it is actively being worked on through the escalation that has already been submitted and is currently in progress with the relevant team.
What we are doing now is ensuring that the team responsible is continuously following through on the existing escalation until we receive a confirmed outcome and resolution steps. There are no separate or new actions being started from scratch, this is a continuation of the active case already in the system.
We understand your concern about delays, and we will continue to follow up on your behalf until this is properly resolved.
Warm regards,

19 May 2026, 13:23Hi Promise,
We understand why you feel this way, especially after being without a working connection for such an extended period while payment has already been made. Four weeks without progress is understandably frustrating, and we can see why your confidence in the process has been affected.
We also understand your concern regarding the account process and why being advised to create a new account, while the original issue remains unresolved, would add to the frustration rather than provide reassurance.
At this stage, the matter remains actively with the relevant team for intervention and review, including the concerns you’ve raised around the activation delays and billing impact during this period. We are continuing to push for a clear outcome on the case rather than allowing it to remain in ongoing follow-up without direction.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

21 May 2026, 16:46Hi Promise,
Thank you for your message, and we understand your frustration given that you’ve been without a connection for an extended period. We know how disruptive this is, especially when you’re relying on a stable internet service day to day.
We’ve submitted a follow-up to our Vumatel team to urgently check the status of your installation and provide an update on what is causing the continued delay. The team is currently engaging the fibre network side to get clarity and progress this as quickly as possible.
We appreciate your patience while this is being worked on and will ensure feedback is provided as soon as it is received.
Warm regards,
