Bad service

I have a problem, I took an MTN sim card for R200, so I didn't know that it only works on a few routers so now I'm stuck, and when I cancel they tell me that it will cancelled at the end of October so they will charge me again for something that I didn't use. so meaning that I have just donated R500 for nothing, that is not fair.
