Bad Service
On Friday, 26 June 2015, I noticed our domain was down with the following code 41.185.17.250. When I called an automated voice message informed clients they were experiencing a problem. The problem persisted on Monday, when I called, the support answered my call after waiting for 15 minutes. Darshin proceeded to tell me the account has been suspended and I needed to speak to their billing department. Janine answered my call after another wait of 20 minutes. She had the audacity to tell me there is an amount outstanding on the account and they have suspended my service. When we checked, there was another company linked to our domain and for this reason my domain suspended which has impacted on our business because we couldn't send out our month statements. I asked to her re-install my service immediately and she promptly slammed the phone down in my ear. Is this the normal practice of how businesses operate when they are in fault? is there any way we can claim a refund for loss of business due to their sloppy service?
There seems to be a misunderstanding because we listened to the call and the line cut, Janine didn't put the phone down on you. Nevertheless, we do apologise for that.
As per your discussion with Janine, the lady that registered the account combined both your company services along with theirs, therefore, this is where the confusion lies. Having said that, invoices have been sent to the registered email address on the account and that appears to be your domain. Moreover, in order for us to end this confusion, please send our Billing team an email requesting to move your service away from the current account, so both accounts are separated. Please send the email to: ***
