BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES - Very *********
I have been a loyal Web Africa client for 2 years now. Today to my surprise I get a bill of over R12000 for hosting disc-space overages. That translates to 24GB of space that has been used more than the allocated amount - in a months' time. I know where the problem was, it was my fault - I set the back-up's incorrectly. But really, this has been going on for 3 weeks and they did not have the decency to let me know or cut me off. As a service provider that I pay each month I thought they will have the decency of letting a customer know when something is wrong on the account. If I had known sooner than I could have fixed the problem without it getting out of hand like this.

The consumer's law say:
The consumer's right to return and not pay for unsolicited goods or services.
Consumers have the right to return unsolicited goods or services, at the risk and expense of the suppliers.

Guess what: I have deleted the stuff taking up the extra space and rectified the problem so that it would not happen again. YOUR GOODS OR SERVICES ARE RETURED. Now will you please credit the R12000 invoice?
We can totally understand why you were shocked when you received your bill and we're sorry for the frustration this matter has caused you.
Thank you for being a loyal customer of ours and as a sign of good faith, we have added a 30% discount for the frustration caused. It does stipulate on our website that if a customer goes over the allocated disk space limit, it'll be 50c per MB. And our guys have been in touch to make payment arrangements so they can help to alleviate this dilemma.
We hope that this matter has been resolved. If it's not, please contact us on *** or email: ***, so we can assist.
