Bad bad bad Webafrica and Frogfoot

On 30 Jan we started talking to Webafrica as Frogfoot directed us here, then by the end of the day having waited hours on the chat function Whatsapp, the lady Pricilla phoned me, checked the address and confirmed that indeed they will install as they cant offer Vuma in this building So we agreed she would phone me back Never happened. Come 02 Feb I go to whatsapp channel, wait 3 hours before being passed to Pricilla She phones me again and by 1147am we successfully placed an order for Frogfoot Air. She assures me as there is already an ONT in the apartment, it would be processed in under 7 days, modem delivered in 5 days. I follow up on 9th, but not staying active on the Whatsapp channel, they answer you and then if uou dont respond immediately they drop the chat function even though i was on it for hours Fast forward to today, start a call from my cell to ***, after 3hours waiting I was caller 1, but by now the Whatsapp channel told me the call centre closes 530pm so i deopped the call

Anyway, on Whatsapp he says "[02/09, 16:38] Webafrica: *Firdows V.*: Frogfoot’s planning team has requested proof of address, as the address is not fully listed on their internal portal for order placement. [02/09, 16:43] Webafrica: *Firdows V.*: When will you be able to provide the proof of address — today or tomorrow? [02/09, 16:48] Webafrica: *Firdows V.*: I have escalated it to Frogfoot’s planning team. The escalation reference is WA***. [02/09, 16:48] Webafrica: *Firdows V.*: Frogfoot will provide feedback on the order placement for installation within the next 72 working hours. [02/09, 16:49] Webafrica: *Firdows V.*: Once the order has been finalized and placed by Frogfoot, their contractors will contact you within 7–14 working days to schedule and complete the installation."

So after 7 days since order placement, Webafrica says that Frogfoot will respond within 72hours, then after that the 7-14days will start. So I am not confident in any one of these companies. Clearly has the monopoly thats why everyone fell over each other to install into towns. Stellenbosch installation, thats why operators like RAIN will be eating their lunch
