Avoid WebAfrica.

The biggest hustlers out there

They want me to cancel my subscription twice.

The subscription was cancelled a month ago, services terminated on the 1st of May.

Tried for 2 days to speak to an agent, eventually they got back to me today.

When I escalated that they're lease the line they blast you with high sophistry and claim no you didn't cancel the line and give you all sorts of technical details that the average client could no less about...

A wonder chap Keenan Blake Labahn gaslit me for about 15 minutes. Telling me I did not cancel my line but the communication I recieved from these fools clearly stayes terminated 1st of May.

Hello  Erik. We hear how frustrating this experience has been, especially where there was a clear understanding that the service had already been cancelled, and you were then met with conflicting feedback and repeated back-and-forth. When communication and system information do not align, it can understandably feel confusing and unproductive. We have already arranged for our Cancellation team to review your profile in full, including the termination date, all previous communication, and the account activity linked to your request. The purpose of this review is to reconcile everything properly so there is a clear and accurate timeline of what was actioned and when, with no ambiguity. The team will then get in touch with you directly to go through their findings and confirm the next steps. This will include verifying the cancellation status, checking any remaining line activity if applicable, and ensuring everything aligns with what was communicated to you previously. Our focus now is to bring this to a clear and final resolution based on the account record, so there is no need for repeated explanations, and you can have full clarity on where things stand.

Warm regards,

Reviewer Update
An automated reply sent to the disgruntled client,

"We have already arranged for our Cancellation team to review your profile in full, including the termination date, all previous communication, and the account activity linked to your request. The purpose of this review is to reconcile everything properly so there is a clear and accurate timeline of what was actioned and when, with no "ambiguity."

There certainly is ambiguity and a lot of sophistry and gaslighting by the support person Keenan Blake Labahn, a star performer, clearly because she knows how to play the game... According to her, I did not cancel my service, said I chose to keep the line active, the Vumatel Line and not the Mitsol Line. (I mean what on earth does that even mean...) these are details that are designed to confuse the client. And maybe there was confusion when I decided to cancel..

Read other reviews and you will see that there are a number of former clients that have experienced the same issues and being over charged.

I don't believe this will be resolved and could end in many tears. They can keep the line and I will use another method.

"Our focus now is to bring this to a "clear and final resolution" based on the account record, so there is no need for repeated explanations, and you can have full clarity on where things stand"

More double speak, and a focus on clear and final resolutions - yes, but not for the client. This is clearly to cover the webafrica's backside is all. It's not about who is right or wrong but about defeating the client.

I do not recommend webafrica and their services.

Hi Erik, We hear your concerns, especially around the cancellation status, the communication you received, and the confusion caused by differing explanations. That kind of experience understandably leads to frustration and mistrust. We want to clarify that the purpose of the review currently underway is specifically to verify the cancellation timeline, account activity, and any previous interactions so there is a single, accurate record of what was actioned on your account. This is to ensure the outcome is based on confirmed account data rather than conflicting interpretations. We are continuing to follow up with the Cancellation team to ensure this is properly reviewed and concluded. Once their assessment is complete, they will provide you with a clear outcome based on the account record. Warm regards,
