Avoid WebAfrica at all cost: My horrible experience.
*Warning: WebAfrica's Poor Customer Service and Unfair Charges*
I recently tried to move my router to a new house and was quoted a R999 cancellation and moving fee. An agent, Sindisiwe M., suggested a "transfer of ownership" with no fees. I cancelled the move request and proceeded with the transfer. However, I was later charged for cancellation and moving fees despite being assured otherwise.
Multiple agents, including Marrisa B., assured me that the fees would be waived, but WebAfrica continued to deduct funds from my account without notice. I fought with them for weeks, and one agent, Baliwe M., claimed that the charges were for cancellation fees and keeping the line active. This contradicted everything previous agents had told me.
WebAfrica's service is appalling, and they show no accountability. They attempted to take almost R2000 from me in 10 days without any communication or apology. After disputing the charges, they offered a meager R220 credit. I advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company.
*Rating: 1/5*
I hope my experience serves as a warning to others. WebAfrica's lack of transparency and poor customer service is unacceptable.
