Appalling service from webafrica

The past few days have been a nightmare trying to deal with Webafrica. From getting an installation to getting a wifi connection. What was meant to be a seamless transition from one property to another turned into a nightmare of me having to deal with everyone calling till my airtime runs out with no assistance,,having the consultants leave the chat hanging with no one who could give solutions, no communication, no curtesy, no urgency. I have never dealt with this much incompetence. I will never recommend this company to anyone. The worst part is having an installation and them still leaving my house where i have no connection and promising another team will finish the job and hours later still sitting with no connection and no communication from webafrica. I swear if i ever use this service again it will be too soon. I am utterly disappointed.

Hi  Sindiswa,
We fully acknowledge how upsetting and exhausting this situation has been for you, especially when what should have been a seamless property transition instead resulted in repeated delays, poor communication, and being left without a working connection after an installation. The lack of urgency, follow‑through, and clear updates you’ve described is understandably disappointing and not the standard of service we aim to deliver.
We have escalated this matter to the team that handles order installations and clearly flagged the urgency of your case. They have been requested to urgently follow up on the installation issue and provide you with an email update as soon as possible, outlining the current status. This escalation is focused on ensuring accountability and proper communication, given the impact this has had on you.
Your feedback regarding the handling of the installation, the lack of communication, and the experience with chat support will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review, as it highlights serious gaps that need to be addressed.
If you would like any further assistance, you’re welcome to reach out to us again via Hello Peter, where we can remain available to support you.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Hi Sindiswa,
We fully acknowledge the seriousness of your situation, especially given that you work and study from home and that your children also rely on the connection. After repeated escalations, still being without WiFi is understandably overwhelming and emotionally exhausting. This matter has been escalated to the team responsible for order installations, with the urgency of your case clearly communicated. The escalation remains active, and the team will continue to work towards a resolution.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Hi SIndiswa, we understand the urgency here, especially with no connectivity and the need for clarity on what is causing the downtime. This has now been escalated to the technical team for immediate investigation, and they are currently working on diagnosing the fault affecting your connection. The focus is on identifying whether this is a line issue, authentication problem, or network-side fault so it can be resolved as quickly as possible. Once feedback is received from the technical team, a clear update will be shared with you on the cause of the issue and the expected resolution time. Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Sindiswa, we understand how disruptive it is to be without internet for several days and the need for a clear update at this stage. The technical team is still actively working on the fault, and an update will be provided as soon as there is confirmed feedback from the network side. At this moment, there is no new confirmed information to share, but the case remains in progress and is being monitored. As soon as the team receives an update or resolution timeline, it will be communicated so you’re not left waiting without clarity. Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Sindiswa, We understand your frustration, especially with another day ending without a working connection and no clear cause yet identified. The technical team is still actively working on the fault on the backend, investigating the line and network conditions to determine the exact cause of the outage. At this stage, there is no new confirmed update, but the case remains open and under active investigation. Once the technical team has completed their checks and there is confirmed feedback or a resolution timeline, you will be updated immediately so you are kept informed on progress. Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Sindiswa,
We understand how frustrating and unacceptable it is to have paid for your service, gone through the installation, and still be without a connection for several days. We acknowledge the impact this has had on you and appreciate your patience under very difficult circumstances.
We’ve escalated your case to the team that handles order activations, with a clear request for an urgent follow‑up. The team has been asked to review the status of your connection as a priority and to provide you with an email update outlining what is preventing the service from going live and the next steps to resolve this.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Hi Sindiswa, we hear how frustrating and disruptive this situation has been for you, especially as your router has been delivered, payment has been made, and you’re still unable to connect. We also understand the impact this is having on your ability to work online and the added cost of relying on mobile data in the meantime. That level of uncer*****y and repeated communication with different agents is understandably exhausting. An escalation has now been submitted to our Provisioning/Orders team to urgently review and assist with the activation of your service so that connectivity can be properly established. This team is responsible for ensuring the line is correctly provisioned and brought online where delays or activation issues are occurring. We acknowledge your request for direct contact and clearer communication. The escalation includes your request for follow-up and prioritisation so that this is not handled in fragments across multiple touchpoints. Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew
