Anti-competitive behavior by WebAfrica

As a tenant in a new house, I app**** for FTTH service from the Vumatel website and it disallowed my application because there is an active service with another ISP at that address. After a few phone calls, the said ISP was WebAfrica. At this time their client who was the previous tenant had vacated the premises but I am informed by WebAfrica that they sent an email to cancel their service late so it would run for another 30 days despite the fact that they no longer reside at the premises and I have a new lease for the address. I was told that the 0 day notice period is standard to all their contracts and cannot be changed, however, WebAfrica informed me that if I chose to take a service with them, this could be made to go away but if I chose another ISP I would have to wait the expiry of the waiting cancellation period. As a result I still have no fibre at my place because WebAfrica is holding me and every other ISP I want to choose at ransom. I feel this is bullying tactics and amount to unfair and anti-competitive behavior and no ISP should be allowed to do this, especially because no one gains anything by this because they already have their monies paid by their client at the beginning of the month. On principle I refuse to ever go with WebAfrica.
