An Absolute Atrocity: Non-Provider

It's amazes me to no end that I have had such incredibly bad service from WebAfrica. I had previously used them when I lived in Port Elizabeth but I will NEVER go near them again, and I am actively warning my friends not to either.

As August dawned on us ****erally on the first day), my service was suspended. Despite having paid every invoice up until then; nobody answered any of my tickets over the next week except to ask me if I've tried turning my router off, and on again.

At the 7 day mark; I cancelled my service and declined to pay the invoice for the month of August since they could neither tell me why the service was suspended nor for how long it would be. In light of this wilful denial of communication, I found a new ISP.

Since then I have fielded several phone calls asking why there is an outstanding amount on my account. Still NOBODY is listening because I have explained it multiple times now so the recordings should be enough for them.

Here are a few things I fail to understand: • Why did they cut my service for more than a week? • Why would you FAIL to reinstate my service if you so badly want my money? • Why threaten to hand me over to your "legal" team when the tickets are STILL outstanding on your system? • Why did your sales team move heaven and earth to insert themselves into my ass until I agreed to use WebAfrica if you didn't want to provide the service that you contractually obligated to?
