A pathetically poor service provider

Has anyone else had to pay a clawback fee for cancelling their Fibre line with Webafrica??

We had to, because we were moving. We wanted to transfer the line across but Webafrica doesn't do that apparently.
Therefore, we were forced to pay the fee (well, they debited it off our bank account without informing us.)
When we questioned the clawback fee, Webafrica said it was Telkom who charged the fee, but when we questioned Telkom, they said it was definitely Webafrica.
We then asked Webafrica, and they admitted it was a 3rd party fee, from a company they had outsourced to install lines, Openserve.

After cancelling our old line and paying the fee, we then placed another order on the 3rd of October with Dawn Brummer, who then gave us an order number and we were told it was 4 week waiting period for installation.

Throughout the month, we never received any feedback, and it felt as if Webafrica was actually just trying to avoid us. We called numerous times, to which we were told we "Webafrica would call us back" and "Webafrica has escalated our order".

On the 9th November, I called in and was put on hold for 15 minutes, then another 10 mintues.
I stayed on the line because we had been let down so many times with empty promises of "call backs" and didn't want to risk it.

When I finally got through, I was put through to Recardo Tango, who then informed me that there was NO ORDER placed on the 3rd of October and the order number we had, didn't exist?????

How is it possible, that we received emails and confirmation from Webafrica about a line order that doesn't exist???

I then placed ANOTHER order and was told I would receive an update the following day, to which NOTHING happened.

After waiting another 3 days, I then called back, and was told the fibre operational manager would phone me back with a complete update of our line.

It's now the 14th, nothing has been done and we have received NO UPDATE...

It's quite frustrating because as soon as we decided we were cancelling and informed Webafrica, they immediately called back and asked if we were sure???

But we have had zero response when it comes to line updates or general inquiries...

What a disappointment.
