I placed an order with Webafrica on Wednesday 18 January 2017. At the end of my telephonic conversation with a very friendly gentleman, i asked what kind of time line I am looking at, and I was told "6 weeks max, guaranteed".

Well I am currently in week 10, not a single step closer to being connected than I was on 18 January. On 03 February 2017 an email was sent to me informing me that my order has moved to "step 2 - Order placed with Infrastructure Provider" which was said would take 3-5 days. To date no progress has been made. OpenServe made contact with me once to confirm my address for installation, which they got wrong, despite it being emailed to Webafrica.

After various emails, facebook messages, and phone calls, I have had no luck getting an installation date. This is by far the worst "service" I have received. It is as if they couldn't care any less that they aren't able to give answers. The blame keeps being shifted to OpenServe.

If you are thinking about using Webafrica, you can expect poor communication, and a lack of interest in resolving customer issues.

I am ever hopeful that the service will not follow this trend once the fibre has been installed.

I am (im)patiently waiting for for someone to contact me with an installation date...
