Hey @WebAfrica, this is unacceptable. I was paying R799 for FTTH when you were selling the SAME package for R399. When I tried to cancel, you threatened me with cancellation fees. Retentions team begged me to stay with a discount (~R330). I agreed. Debit order went off fine. Now, while I’m overseas and my kids rely on Wi-Fi for online school, you suddenly canceled my account in July, claiming “debit rejected” – which is false. My other debits went off fine. I’ve never missed a payment in years. Now you say: I must wait 3–5 working days for reconnection? Possibly pay a reconnection fee? You wouldn’t let me leave when I wanted to. Now you cancel my service, leaving my children stranded in the middle of their schooling. Fix this TODAY. Reinstate my connection immediately or do not DARE debit my account again. #WebAfricaFail #ConsumerRights
