2 months free fibre ...

I signed up for Webafrica's "first two months free fibre" promotion on the 18th of February (as advertised on their website https://www.webafrica.co.za/blog/fibre/webafricas-fibre-freebies-ends-31st-march/ )

My fibre was installed and activated on the 29th of May 2017 and I received a bill for my fibre for July, having only had fibre for a total of 1 month and 3 days. I immediately logged a support ticket on their website, which I didn't receive any response on, re-logged it - still no response. Called them and eventually after speaking to Lincoln at billing support on the 17th of July, he told me that the 3 days in May (29 till 31st May) counted AS A FULL MONTH!!!

I definitely DID NOT receive my first two months free as was advertised by Webafrica.

Ridiculous!

I've cancelled my account with them and will be moving. This is AFTER I have to wait for the 1 and a half month cancellation period.

I used to be a proud Webafrica customer, but certainly am not any longer. I wouldnt recommend anyone to sign up with them again.

Sorry, this automated response from Webafrica is not going to cut it. I already explained the situation to billing and they weren't interested in resolving the issue.
