WORST SERVICE EVER

We bought a house in Maroeladal, Randburg and there was already an ONT in the house as the previous owners were with Vumatel.

When our ISP tried to activate our account, they were informed that the ONT was 'recycled' on Vumatel's system. A new order was placed and installed by PPI Group on Thursday 22 April 2021. The team told me that the person doing the ONT activation would be at our place either the same afternoon or LATEST Friday 23 April. They are not allowed to do the activation.

I called PPI Group on Friday morning to confirm the date of activation and was informed that it will definitely be activated that same day. So far, it is NOT activated yet and thus NO INTERNET. We are trying to make a living from home!!!

Try calling PPI Group after 4pm is a nightmare as the 'number does not exist'. Even calling them during normal hours is a disaster as the person you need to speak to, is not answering their phone. You are lucky IF they return your call HOURS later.

Sadly, we are stuck with either Vumatel or Rain in our area - no Openserve. I never had any of this pathetic service from Openserve in the years that I was with them. Fibre was installed, ONT connected AND ACTIVATED by the same team, the SAME DAY!!!

I sincerely hope that Openserve will soon put fibre in our suburb so that I can change over to them. Not only is their servide delivery superior to Vumatel, but their new Fibre packages are MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER !!!

Vumatel, you should change your name to VrotTel because your service delivery is VROT !!!!
