Webafrica and Vumatel Useless
I have a fibre solution at my house, the ISP is webafrica and the initial installation with the line provider was SADV, Vumatel has since taken over SADV, Vumatel now manages the line and webafrica still the ISP, i pay R1099 for a 100/2 line, on any given day my download speed is 6.33 and up 9.3, this is ridiculous for the money i pay, numerous attempts to get webafrica keeps failing, they do not have a contact email or number you can call and a watsapp group that is absolutely useless. eventually now its an issue with Vumatels line, so basically i think that both webafrica and Vumatel are useless in providing a decent service, they quick to take your money each month and share it amongst the shareholders, i tried to cancel my aggreement with webafrica and was told i need to pay for the router if i dont return it in 20 days, weirdly im out of the normal 12/24 month contract with webafrica hence my router is paid off. These people are down right sharks, you can never get hold of them, they are amazing at making stupid foolish adverts and just about nothing else.
We trust that you are well

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to get hold of Web Africa. Typically speed issues are related to your ISP because the infrastructure/fibre is generally either up or down but throughput provided by the ISP can fluctuate. Very rarely is it anything in between, but it can be and needs investigating. Because it is more often than not an ISP issue, one should go to them first to run through all of their checks, and then if they cannot resolve the issue on their end, they will escalate the issue to us.
In this case, since you are not getting any luck with them, let's see how we can assist. Please can you email me on "social at vumatel dot co dot za" so that I can engage with you and we can run through some troubleshooting steps?
Thanks
Kind regards
