Vumatel's POOR SERVICE & HIGHEST PRICES
Vumatel is SUPER ****!!! In the my Home Complex we have NO OTHER choice as to use Vumatel as our FNO! Vumatel installed their Fibre cabeling in early 2020 and our Complex is stuck with them. Their line speed quality is so pathetic and poor. I am paying for a 100down/100up line speed with my ISP and I get around if I'm lucky, 75max down / 50+- up speeds. Then I got a FREE double speed upgrade for 3 months from my ISP and the down/up speeds is every day the same - morning / afternoon / evenings / between 12am and 7am the same!! 150+- down / 135+- up speeds.
Then Vuma****tel has the HIGHEST package pricing? They even took away cheaper packages that clients was paying for and moved those packages to more expensive ones and now the clients needs to pay for that move Vumatel did.
The neighborhood I live in, all around me is with Openserve. The complex is right in the middle and we cannot use Openserve?? Why can't Openserve just lay cables into the Complex?? The only thing deviding the complex and the other complexes around us, is a street!!
I'm soooo done with Vuma****tel ! What are we to do?

This DOES NOT look the case as you can clearly see below from different Fibre providers the different pricing?? Vuma is the currently the highest with certain packages up to R350 more than other Fibre providers. This is UNEXCEPTABLE ... When DFA and Vumatel launched operations, it was a landgrab. You took on a lot of debt to roll out fibre networks as fast as you could. There was no sense in containing costs. You knew if you could reach critical mass quickly, a large company like Remgro or Vodacom will buy you at a high valuation. Vumatel’s wholesale prices are out of sync with the rest of the industry. Vumatel also forces ISPs to sign up to its “Automation Exchange”. Nobody really gets much value for this extra cost. It is basically just an additional layer with no value to ISPs or consumers. “It has been our aim over the last seven years to give our customers the best quality infrastructure and to do so in the most sustainable way possible.” - Vumatel's quality is NOT as great as you started off! I don't get my down/up speeds for what I'm paying for. I have done extensive research on optomising my Router and settings with no luck!! Even testing with my ISP and then I just gave up on that. Above is the same answer Vumatel replies to customers commenting on "high Prices" - Vumatel, you better PERFORM and STOP what you're doiing!! I have already sent Hellopeter's Vumatel link to everybody I know in my contact list to AVOID Vumatel at all cost!
