Vumatel/Afrihost
@vumatel and @afrihost we have been workout internet service for over a day and when I phone Afrihost, I am told that the fault can take from 24 to 72 hours. Not good enough. I'm paying for a service that isn't working. Also it doesn't look like @Vumatel has responded to @Afrihost. Very disheartening.

Please reach out to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and request them to log a ticket on your behalf with us. Once they do so, kindly provide us with the ticket number. The Vumatel ticket number typically begins with 0000 and would have been sent to you via SMS.

02 Apr 2024, 09:31Fault no, ***6 was reported on 29 April 2024 at around 11:00. I have phoned Afrihost numerous times over the last 4 days and I'm told to be patient due to Vumatel's back log from the issue with the underground cables in the sea. Yesterday, which is 3 days later, I was told by Afrihost that a technician has been allocated, but as of this morning (09:30, 02/04/2024) I am still without internet. I am paying for a service that I am not receiving. I hope I will be receiving a credit for these days that I have not received service as well as the data that I have had to purchase so that I may function and make sure that my small business from home is not affected. Please advise as a matter of urgency! I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this lack of service.
