Vumatel the Eskom of the Fibre world

Internet has been down for almost an entire day, when you call the Vumatel call centre the IVR says "please note the Vumatel call centre will be closed as of 01st April 2021 please contact your ISP for assistance". Please help me understand, if the ISP provides the service but Vumatel provides the line, and the line is the issue how the hell is the ISP meant to sort this issue????? Vumatel wants no accountability, I've called my ISP on several occasions and the response is the same "we are waiting for feedback from Vumatel they are investigating". WOW, almost 24 hours to investigate... pathetic. If you are thinking of getting fibre, there are so many different/ better service providers, don't waste your time with the ESKOM of FIBRE LINES.
