Vumatel Service SHOCKING

I reached out to Mweb weeks ago regarding our fibre cables. Last week Vumatel contacted me to say the technical team will be at our house at 10:00 today. I even phoned this morning to re-confirm and I was told the booking is made for 10:00. When I phone the number for Keegan who phoned me last week, it just rings. No one contacted me to say the technical team will be late. Why is it that companies are never on time to deliver a service? Should a client /customer just wait the entire day for someone to show up. Its absolutely ridiculous that this is happening and that is after I reconfirmed this morning.
