Vumatel Poor Service Delivery

Subject: Unjustified Service Disruption Due to Payment Dispute

Vumatel Customer Service Team,

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the recent issue where Vumatel claims that our internet service payment has not been made. Our internet service provider is Vodacom, and our contractual agreement and payments are made directly to them. As such, it is Vodacom’s responsibility to manage any financial transactions related to our service.

Vumatel, as the line provider, should not be involving us, the end customer, in internal disputes regarding financial matters with Vodacom. We have fulfilled our obligation by paying our service provider, and any outstanding amounts or discrepancies should be handled directly between Vodacom and Vumatel.

It is unacceptable that we are now being inconvenienced by a dispute that does not concern us. We urge Vumatel to resolve this matter with Vodacom directly and to restore our service without further delay. After sending proofe of payment to Vumatel and numerous calls to Vodacom and Vodacom clearly stating that our account is up to date our fibre line is still disconnected. This is not the first time we having trouble with Vumatel and usually it takes days or weeks before a problem is sorted.I think it's better to get another service provider or look for another alternative to cut Vumatel out of the service.Kindly confirm in writing how you intend to address this issue to ensure uninterrupted service moving forward.

We look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter. Please feel free to contact us should you require any further information.

We have never experienced poor pathetically service like this

Vodacom must actually look at another service provider.Vodacom being a good service provider all the years facing alot of negativity how Vumatel is handling there business

Good day  Llewellyn Theunissen.

Please be advised that the fibre line is up and the issue is with the ISP's lease. Please contact your ISP to renew the lease on the line.

Kind regards
The Vuma Team.

My wifi was disconnected from 17 February 2025 and today we on 23 February 2025 already.I phoned Vodacom again this morning for feedback.Operator just stating they escalated the problem to Vumatel.Same thing over and over when will there be a solution. Operator telling me i need to be patient while they fixing the problem.Clearly I'll be inpatient if you pay for a service but your wifi is off for a week already.Since Monday up to yesterday all the lights on the rooter and fibre box was on.This morning all the lights on the fibre box is flashin and on my rooter the lights is on by power and wifi. The internet light is off now.So why is it different to all the other days now.I had Vodacom technicians here saying the problem is at Vumatel's side then the Vumatel technicians saying the problem is on Vodacom’s side.If this go's on for a month i would like to know if i must still be patient
