Vumatel offline for days

Only words I can utter without swearing is absolutely pathetic service from Vumatel. They have planned a upgrade/maintenance and not even had the courtesy to let their customers or the customers service providers know. I reside in the Fairleads - Benoni area and my internet has been off since Tuesday 9 June. Upon phoning my service provider again today, this maintenance is going to continue until 27 June. You are not serious, are you? This is totally absurd and unacceptable. Vumatel are you going to pay my sons lost income as he work from home for this period being without internet. Are you going to reimburse me for the time had no internet, yet paid for it. In the year I have been with Vumatel, there was a couple of times we were off line due to maintenance or broken cables. You are forever fixing problems in our area. I am definitely going to move to another more stable Fibre provider, as I had it with Vumatel. I need internet and a service when I pay for it.
