Vumatel leaves whole area without internet for days

Vumatel has got to be THE worst fibre infrastructure provider in the country. They have disconnected all customers in our area for 8 days in order to perform maintenance. I understand the need for maintenance, but how do you not have a back-up plan for your customers and leave them without your service for 8 full days?? Your service delivery is pathetic. FYI this is not the first time that I'm without internet for days because of Vumatel's antics.
